Planner Stickers

If you follow me on instagram then you've probably already seen what I got in the mail over the weekend.  If not.... It was my new planner stickers!!

These are one of my newest obsessions.  Seriously though! I'm obsessed with my planner and it pretty much holds my life together so why not customize it and decorate.

Once Upon A Planner did an absolute amazing job designing these seasonal stickers.  I chose the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas countdown pages.  They are all such great quality and Once Upon A Planner was so easy to work with.

They not only have seasonal stickers but also have occupational stickers, daily chore stickers, appointment reminder stickers, and Greek stickers.

New stickers are ALWAYS popping up on their instagram and posting to their website.

Go check out their website here and follow them on instagram @once.upon.a.planner

Survive the Summer

Even though football season is just around the corner we still have weeks of summer ahead of us.  If your like me the humidity and heat tend to take a tole on your beauty regime.  Let's be honest the month of August can seem like one long, never ending, up hill battle.

Here are 5 tips to help in your beauty battle:

1.  Prime time
To help set and make sure that my makeup stays as fresh looking as possible I use a primer prior to applying my foundation.  This helps to ensure that I have the smooth fined lines, cover any minor imperfections in skin tone, as well as maintain and prolong that fresh "just applied" look.  This is also on of my favorite drug store steals!

2.  Pump it up
If you are naturally curly then humidity is not your friend, sister.  Trust me when I say that I can completely relate.  So, in these blistering burning months I try to embrace the my natural frizz.  I bust out my mousse and diffuser and go to town.  This always helps tame my Roseanne Roseanndanna.

4.  Pull it together
The "doo doo ball" is one of my signature go to favorites.  Slap a fun french braid down the side to pull in all those sweet wispies.  This is a fun and keep cool hairstyle.

5. Pop of color
During the summer I love to polish my nails with pretty bright colors.  A fresh coat of polish is the cherry on top of any outfit and a must accessory for the summer.

And for you ladies who color your hair check out Madison-Reed. Com. Take their color quiz and find out what color would work great for you!

What have been some of your beauty saviors this summer?

Friday Favorites

ONE

B and I have busted out our white hats this week and have totally gone on a Scandal binge.  I'm proud to say that we are no longer a season behind and are completely prepared for the season premiere on September 24.  I can not wait to welcome back TGIT this fall.

TWO

I just could not help myself.  I've started pulling out my fall decorations.  I mean might as well.  I usually start pulling out my Christmas decorations around October so I like to give myself plenty of time to enjoy all my seasonal decor.  Blame it on my personality of zero patience.

THREE

On Monday I shared some of my favorite ideas that help me love my home more and more.  You can read the post here.

FOUR

I've FINALLY finished the headboard for our guest bedroom.  Obviously in the photo it is not finished but stayed tuned for a full post about this DIY redo.

FIVE
This past week the humidity has finally taken a back seat and the temperature has dropped to the very comfortable low to mid 90s.  B and I have been enjoying evening walks without having to carry an oxygen tank or being completely drenched by the time we get back home. This brief relief is probably temporary but it has been so welcome and has made me so excited for fall. Que the fall decorating.
