Say It!!

I've always been someone to wear my feelings on my sleeves.  You can tell when I'm happy, sad, upset, etc.  Sometimes though I become complacent in my life and my walk with Christ, which is a dangerous place to be, and I forget to tell those who mean the most to me that I love them.  It becomes so easy to think "they know I love them, so I don't have to say it".   SAY IT!!!!!!!                                     

Five years ago today I talked to my best friend for the last time.  5 years can feel like 5 seconds or an eternity.  I had no idea that when I left that homecoming ceremony Friday September 29, 2006, laughing and smiling, that I would never see her again.  

Taylor and I began preschool together at the age of 2 and both moved to Gillett at the same time to begin kindergarten.  We played softball together and cheered together 7th grade through half of our senior year.  

Her life was cut short by an under the influence driver.  This person has still yet to receive the punishment that they deserve.  Taylor turned 18 on September 6 and was killed September 29.

Please keep Taylor's family and all of her friends in your prayers and hug a friend and tell them how much you love them!!! SAY IT!!!

I'm a bad blogger!!

Finally I am all moved in!!! Well... at least all of my things are in my apartment but I still have to get my curtains up and all of my pictures hung so it still lacks that homey feeling.  I'm so grateful to be moved in though because I get to sleep an extra hour every morning because Mud Island is only 5 miles aways from UTHSC!!

School has definitely picked up and is in full swing!! I had my second dental anatomy test today and feel great about it!  I have NEVER been one who enjoyed school but it truly makes a difference when you are studying something that interest you!!

I was also voted as historian for the DH class of 2013 this last week and am SOOOO excited to serve my class by documenting and capturing memories for our class for the next two years!!  

I promise that I am going to try to be a better blogger and keep my life updated so things aren't so hectic in my next post!! lol

I won't think about that today.... I'll think about that tomorrow
